Author’s notes: 1) This has not been beta read, but feedback is absolutely priceless. 2) This piece, beginning immediately after the movie’s end, precedes the Curt/Arthur piece I posted a few weeks ago under the title “Give and Take” and which I will probably tweak and co-opt into this series of vignettes. 3) Finally, the title comes from a line in The Picture of Dorian Gray, and the piece is peppered with Oscar Wilde quotes which should be easily identifiable.
